AWAMI VILLAS, PRODUCTION UNIT FUNCTIONAL NOW

Bahria Town, Asia's largest real estate developer announced the launch of production unit for the building of prefabricated houses named Awami Villas.

Due to the massive demand for the Awami Villas, the production capacity of the plant will be further inflated to accommodate those who couldn’t benefit from the scheme in its first phase of the launch.
The production unit was imported from Sarawak Malaysia on transfer of technology basis. For the initial three years this Italian plant will be supervised by eleven member’s team from Malaysia before handing it over to the Bahria Town team. The Malaysian team members have served in different capacities for providing the same housing solution successfully in Malaysia and other parts of the world.

An overwhelming response from the applicants far exceeded the number of available units. Balloting was held on Friday, 30th June 2006 to select successful applicants. The confirmation letters have been sent to the successful members of Awami Villas.

Awami Villas is an exclusive project of Bahria Town which caters to the demands of the low income class and will help bridge the enlarged gap between the demand and supply of the houses in the country. This project has introduced pre-fabricated housing for the first time in Pakistan. This initiative is bound to leave its sight on the housing and construction sector in Pakistan.
